In line with our strategic goals of helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds complete their education and helping schools improve their educational outcomes, Project Tai aims at achieving this through:

  • Enhancing school management skills and capacities of principals and their deputies
  • Enhancing pedagogy skills among teachers
  • Enhancing parental skills and providing a better understanding of how to raise teenagers among parents
  • Equipping high school students with necessary life skills, which are aimed at improving their capacities in all facets of life

The project aims to realize the following objectives:

  • Solve high dropout and failure rates in schools
  • Provide support for boy/girl child affected and prevented from succeeding in education
  • Create support mechanisms for students from challenging backgrounds
  • Collaborate with education managers to resolve dearth of education in management skills

By the numbers:

Since its inception in 2019, we have facilitated the;

  • Training of 10 principals and 250 teachers,
  • Mentoring of 5000 students
  • Training sessions for more than 1500 parents; having 20 sessions with them in 2019 and 8 in 2020.
